Anne Winkler, a native Berliner, studied cultural studies with a focus on social sciences and linguistics at the European University Viadrina.
For over a decade, she has held various positions in film and television production, gaining extensive experience in international co-productions, documentaries, and feature film productions.
More recently, she is Associate Producer at Road River Films for the German-French-Iranian series "A Sense of Place" (2023, world premiere CPH: DOX) and served as line producer for the BKM-funded short film "Die Wüste" (WT, dir: Miguel Goya).

In 2025, she partnered with Afsun Moshiry to establish Road River Films GmbH.
